Dr. Greg Hassel
Dr. Hassel was born and raised in Missouri. He graduated in 1983, from the University of Missouri Columbia with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Before opening Companion Animal, he gained experience at several clinics throughout the area. His most memorable, working with Dr. Griffiths at Mattawan Animal Hospital. They remain good friends to this day. Dr. Hassel has one dog, Gibson along with one cat, Spice. He spends much of his free time working on one of his many projects. He likes to visit with family in Missouri when he can. He also enjoys reading, fishing, hunting, and canoeing.
Dr. Lee Diana
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Diana joined our team in December 2016, relocating from Illinois. She obtained her BA from Lake Forest College in 2004. Dr. Diana completed her Master's in Science in 2009 from Eastern Illinois University. She went to the University of Illinois for her veterinary degree. Dr. Diana interest include dermatology, dentistry, and internal medicine.
Outside the clinic, she is a mother to two wonderful girls. Her mini zoo include 2 dogs (Riddick and Kali), 2 hairless guinea pigs (Elsa and Anna), and a leopard gecko (Rango). In her free time, Dr. Diana, loves to garden, hike, and play soccer.
