Companion Animal was first established in 1986 when Dr. Hassel began doing house calls for his clients. The first facility was purchased in 1999, and it housed a couple of secretaries, index card files and their first computer.  In 2004, the Plainwell clinic was opened at 201 E. Bridge Street. We still follow the same ideals exemplified by Dr. Hassel. The same personal attention and patient care given since the beginning, from his red Ford Ranger truck. Companion Animal Veterinary Clinic has continued to grow, providing compassionate, quality, professional and friendly service for our communities.
